i-dle Member Miyeon Purchases Luxury Apartment in Yongsan Central Park
Miyeon, a member of the girl group i-dle (real name Jo Mi-yeon), has reportedly purchased a luxury residential complex unit located in Yongsan Central Park, situated in the Yongsan District of Seoul.
According to Herald Economy on the 20th, court registration documents indicate that Miyeon signed a contract on the 3rd to buy a unit measuring 135 square meters (17th floor) in Yongsan Central Park for 5.05 billion KRW. The transaction was finalized with the payment of the balance on the 12th, and the transfer of ownership has been completed.
This transaction marks a new record for the price of a unit of this size, surpassing the previous record of 4.3 billion KRW for a unit that was sold on April 20, 2024, located on the 28th floor.
The absence of any mortgage on the registration documents suggests that Miyeon may have completed the purchase entirely in cash without any financing from financial institutions.
Yongsan Central Park is a mixed-use development completed in 2017, featuring five buildings with a maximum height of 43 stories and a total of 1,140 units, combining apartments, officetels, and commercial facilities. The location is highly desirable due to its proximity to Yongsan Station, which serves Subway Lines 1 and 4 as well as KTX services, and the scenic views of both the Han River and Yongsan Park, contributing to its unique locational value.
Meanwhile, i-dle, the group to which Miyeon belongs, is a multinational girl group under CUBE Entertainment that debuted on May 2, 2018. They released their digital single Mono on the 27th of last month and achieved first place in three major music shows: Mnet Countdown on the 5th, KBS2 Music Bank on the 6th, and SBS Inkigayo on the 8th.
