The Pinkfong Company Launches Baby Shark Water Park Popup Event in Singapore
The Pinkfong Company, a global family entertainment enterprise, announced on the 23rd its plans to host a large-scale water park popup event in Singapore, targeting the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market with an experiential offline business expansion.
Singapore, where tourism and family demand coexist, will serve as a strategic hub for Pinkfong as it aims to strengthen offline connections with its global fans through experiential content in expansive outdoor spaces. From March 13 to April 5, the company will hold the Baby Shark Splash Wonder event at Palawan Green, a representative resort and tourist island in Singapore, featuring beloved characters Pinkfong and Baby Shark.
This marks the first instance of expanding the Splash Wonder event, which has successfully run twice in Malaysia, into an independent large-scale water festival tailored for the local Singaporean audience. The water park popup will be set up in a vast outdoor space adjacent to the beach, creating an environment where visitors can enjoy water play facilities and experiential play content, offering a sense of openness and scale that is often hard to experience in urban settings.
Palawan Green, where the event will take place, spans approximately 1413 pyeong (4670 square meters) and can accommodate up to 5,000 people at once. A total of 18 attractions will be installed on-site, including Submarine Rush and the wave pool concept Ocean Wave Challenge.
Additionally, various on-site programs for family audiences will be available, such as a meet-and-greet program where visitors can interact and take photos with Pinkfong and Baby Shark mascots, a sing-along stage featuring popular nursery rhymes, and designated photo opportunities. Exclusive merchandise like T-shirts, hats, and beach towels will also be available for purchase at the event, adding to the unique experience for attendees.
