Solum to Showcase Retail in Sync at EuroShop 2026 in Düsseldorf
Solum announced on the 20th that it will participate in EuroShop 2026, the worlds largest retail industry exhibition, taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany from the 22nd to the 26th.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, EuroShop is held every three years and features more than 1,900 companies from 60 countries. The core themes of this years exhibition include artificial intelligence (AI), digitalization, and sustainability.
At this exhibition, Solum will formally introduce its theme Retail in Sync, which was first presented at the NRF 2026 in New York in January. Following its efforts in the North American market, Solum aims to focus on promoting its Intelligent Store Management Platform in Europe as well.
The key message of Solum, Retail in Sync, integrates electronic shelf labels (ESLs), AI cameras, digital signage, and various IoT sensor data into a unified platform known as the SSP (SOLUM Store Platform). This concept goes beyond merely connecting devices; it consolidates data into a single pipeline to implement real-time inventory management, customer flow analysis, and marketing optimization through a single dashboard.
Founded in 2015 as a spin-off from Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Solum ensures stable data synchronization even in large retail environments through its independently developed Newton communication protocol. The company currently holds a backlog of 2.2 trillion KRW and has established a global network across 13 countries.
At EuroShop, Solums strategy is to validate the maturity of its SSP platform among decision-makers in the European retail market. With production facilities in Vietnam, Mexico, India, and China, Solum aims to strengthen its presence in the global retail landscape.
