Korea Exchange Hosts KOSDAQ Disclosure Workshop to Enhance Corporate Reporting Skills
The Korea Exchange announced on the 24th that it will hold a KOSDAQ Disclosure Officer Workshop in collaboration with the KOSDAQ Association at the L Tower in Yangjae, Seoul.
The event aims to strengthen the disclosure capabilities of KOSDAQ listed companies and to listen to the concerns of practical personnel involved in disclosure. A total of 236 listed companies will participate, with training sessions covering a variety of topics, including disclosure and listing management systems, support measures for corporate value enhancement, legal issues, internal accounting management systems, and education related to electronic securities systems.
In his opening remarks, Lee Chung-yeon, Executive Director of the KOSDAQ Market Headquarters, emphasized the importance of the role and responsibility of disclosure officers, stating, "As the trust in the KOSDAQ market increases, corporate disclosures will become a core function of the capital market."
He further urged KOSDAQ listed companies to actively communicate with the market through accurate and timely disclosures, contributing to the enhancement of corporate value. He assured that the Exchange would continue to provide various support and efforts to facilitate smooth corporate disclosures for listed companies in the future.
