Actress Choi Jung-yoon Reveals She Has Remarried

Actress Choi Jung-yoon, aged 49, recently disclosed her remarriage during a conversation on her YouTube channel on the 12th. She announced, "I have a new family," while chatting with friends and opened up about her new life.
Choi expressed that she felt boxed into the label of a single mom, sharing, "It seems like the frame of being a single mom is tightly set for me." She mentioned that most variety show invitations come with concepts focused on her being alone or with her child. Every time, she had to clarify that she is no longer single, surprising the production teams.
Desiring to change this perception, she said, "I want to change this frame now," adding, "I feel much more at ease."
In the video, several photos were shared, including wedding pictures of the three family members, along with images of her daughter and husband. Choi smiled broadly as she remarked, "I love seeing the two of them from behind."
About her husband, she revealed, "He is a friend of mine who is five years younger." They became close after playing golf together a few times and she helped promote his business. The pivotal moment that led her to decide to marry him was her daughter.
Choi recalled, "On the day I met him for the third time, my daughter sat us down on either side and called us Mommy and Daddy." She reflected on how difficult it could be to remarry if her child did not accept the new relationship, pondering if it was fate.
Interestingly, they did not hold a wedding ceremony, opting only for a wedding photo shoot. Choi elaborated, "We didn’t have a wedding, but Jiwoo kept insisting we should. I think she wanted me to wear a pretty dress. In the end, we decided to take photos together." She chuckled, adding, "After all, it’s still my second wedding photo, isn’t it? At 49, I’ve been told that I look even prettier than in my first wedding photo."
